Scott Richard Foster

Scott is thrilled to be part of Newsical! Broadway/Nat'l; Brooklyn the Musical, You Say Tomato, I Sat Shut Up, Forbidden Broadway. Off-Broadway; Forbidden Broadway, Alive and Kicking, Forbidden Broadway, Comes Out Swinging, Power Balladz, Sessions, Magnetic North. He's performed around the country in various theaters and has been on TV in Blue Bloods and in commercials for Breyers, Dollar Shave Club, Heineken and others. He likes the word huzzah, just so you know. Thanks to the Newsical family for welcoming me into the craziness! 

Susan Mosher

Susan was most recently seen at the Goodspeed Opera House in Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn. Broadway: Hairspray. Off-Broadway: Suds, Back to Bacharach & David. TV: "Nurse Jackie", "Without a Trace", HBO's "If These Walls Could Talk 2" with Vanessa Redgrave, "Beverly Hills 90210", "V eronica's Closet", and a recurring role of Showtime's "The L Word". Films include: "A View From the Top", "Lost Souls", "It's Pat", "The Wedding Planner", and "Bear City 2: the Proposal". 

Christine Pedi

On Broadway Christine  was seen in Chicago  (Mama Morton),   Talk Radio with Liev Schrieber and Little Me with Martin Short.  She recently co-produced & performed in Spamilton-An American Parody.  Other Off B’way   include  the title role in  Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage  Jerrys Girls  and The Mad Show (York Theatre Co), God of Carnage (Soop Theatre Co),many Project Shaw events & A Train Plays, Forbidden Broadway and Forbidden Hollywood (Drama Desk nomination). Fans of "The Sopranos" may recognize her as Mrs Bobby Baccala. (4 scenes, 5 lines ... dead. BUT he loved her so much he couldn't defrost her ziti!) Her multi award winning cabaret act Great Dames has played NYC, London, South Africa, Provincetown, and beyond. She’s a daily host of SiriusXM Radios ON BROADWAY channel 72 as well as a voice artist on THE HOWARD STERN SHOW and has many well loved YouTube videos created with the mad geniuses who produce NEWSical. @christinepedi 

Michael West

Michael most recently appeared in Forbidden Broadway Goes to Rehab, at the 47th Street Theatre (original cast recording on DRG). Off-Broadway: Forbidden Broadway (five editions plus national, international tours, and symphonic concerts, 2500 performances); When Pigs Fly (directed by Mark Waldrop; original cast recording on RCA); Mr President, Whoop-Dee-Doo, much regional including Forbidden Vegas in Sin City. Named by his native Atlanta's press "The Funniest Man in Atlanta" and by the Vegas press as a "Las Vegas at its best entertainer". Michael's acclaimed one-man show, Almost Live from the Betty Ford Clinic, is being updated and rewritten as we speak. www.MichaelWest.net. 

Rick Crom

Creator and Writer

Rick Crom is the author of several Off-Broadway and Cabaret revues over 3 decades. His first off-Bway revue, RSVP, was produced in 1982 followed by Oh Fine, The Subject Was Neurosis, Cut to the Chase, Absolutely Rude, Our Life and Times, What in the World, and NEWSical the Musical. His book shows include, Spacetrek-An Unauthorized Parody and Clyde 'N Bonnie: A Folktale, book by Hunter Foster. Rick is a three-time Drama Desk Award nominee for Outstanding lyrics for NEWSical the Musical. He is also a MAC and Backstage Bistro Award winner. As an actor he appeared on Broadway in the original casts of The Goodbye Girl, Footloose, and Urinetown as well as numerous Television and film roles. 

Mark Waldrop

Director

Directed and wrote material for Bea Arthur on Broadway (Tony nomination, Special Theatrical Event) and for Bette Midler’s Divine Miss Millennium tour. Off- Broadway: direction/book/lyrics for Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly (Drama Desk Award, Outer Critic's Circle Award, OBIE); Off Broadway: Pete‘n’Keely, Not That Jewish, Game Show, My Deah, Inventing Avi, Capitol Steps, and Whatnot (Richard Rodgers Production Award.) He’s helmed many classic musicals at NJ’s Papermill Playhouse, Seattle’s 5th Avenue, the St. Louis MUNY, and MD’s Olney Theater Center. Concert and cabaret appearances for Sutton Foster, Brooke Shields, John Lloyd Young, and many others. 

Ed Goldschneider

Music Director

was the conductor of the original Broadway production of Urinetown, and has conducted or played for the Broadway productions of You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Wicked, Avenue Q, Legally Blonde, On The Town, and Sunset Boulevard; Off Broadway: The Fantasticks, Altar Boyz, Finian's Rainbow. He has worked as pianist/conductor for 11 seasons at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and been a part of the NEWSical team since 2004. 

Krystal Roccaro

Production Stage Manager

has been a part of the NEWSical family for 4 years and counting! She is also currently stage managing the Off- Broadway productions of The Marvelous Wonderettes and Naked Boys Singing! She received her BFA from Hofstra University and graduated from the International School of Commedia Dell'Arte and Comic Acting in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Many thanks to Tom, Michael, Fran and her family and friends. And a very special thank you to the cast and crew of NEWSical for the constant laughs, love and joy. For Erin Patrick- Duane. 

Tom D'Angora

(Producer)

is a 3 time Drama Desk nominee and an Off-Broadway Alliance Award Winner. Off-Broadway:NEWSical: We Distort You Decide, NEWSical: Full Spin Ahead, NEWSical: End of the world Edition, NEWSical: Celebrity Series (featuring Perez Hilton, LaToya Jackson, Jackee Harry, Carson Kressley, Cheri Oteri, Kandi Burruss, and Andrea McArdle), Naked Boys Singing (produced/co-directed); ICONS (produced/directed/conceived), Back in Pictures, and A Broadway Diva Christmas (Produced and co-conceived ). Most recently Tom produced and co-directed the Off-Broadway revival of The Marvelous Wonderettes. In 2003 D’Angora produced, wrote, and starred in his multi-award wining solo show Divas I've Done (which played sold out runs Off-Broadway, LA, Boston, and Provincetown). Film: Co-Producer The Big Gay Musical, Executive Producer Mangus. Recordings: NEWSical: Full Spin Ahead! original cast recording. Executive Producer on Ellen Greene In His Eyes and Scream Along With Billy (available at Marc Jacobs stores). Dedicated to my stepdad Joe.
